Yesterday, Francis Fukuyama told us that neoliberalism was mankind's pinnacle moment...

Today, following Fukuyama's "end of history," Bolivia and Venezuela take back what's theirs

how long did they negotiate? 10 days?
you know what chavez did is stealing.

and you should know that employees are 20% of shareholders. how are they going to get compensated? will you follow up on this?

do you know this company is was owned by the Kirchner's closest friend? Care to comment spin on that?

thank you

PS why steal this company? No billions to pay for it? Where is the money that is supposed to build houses for the poor? Why can't chavez build more houses than his predessosors? Where are the hospitals and schools?

Why is there the second worst inflation in the world? Why is a 30% government pay raise not enough?

a comment on the recent nationwide power failure (recall chavez "nationalized" electrical sector ((EDC)) a year ago):

This brownout came as no surprise. The “new” EDC, got rid of each and every plant manager the old one had. They all are now leading plant operations in Spain and other Latam countries.

It was a forced stoppage in Tacoa (now called Josefa Joaquina) what brought Caracas down.

The best homage for these men and their families, who unwillingly had to leave their jobs and their country, was offered by no other than the Alcalde Mayor. He was very proud of himself announcing that ONE YEAR AGO he bought emergency plants for all the hospitals under his jurisdiction.

THERE YOU GO... THAT IS DISFUNCTIONAL AND INCOMPETENT 21ST CENTURY SOCIALISM A.K.A. THE SWINDLE OF THE CENTURY

Do you rightwing, capitalist bootlickers want a little whine with that cheese?

jajajajajajaj

The situation with the power outages will be managed in good time.

I fundamentally agree that crucial industries should be owned by the state.

As far as building houses goes--yes, there will be plenty built when private interests are sent packing, and these industries are managed to maximize production for national infrastructure and homes.

didn't the power go out all over New York and the mid west a couple of years ago and didn't Enron try to blackout California so they could manipulate the price of electricity, ah but that's OK it's pure corporatism in action, the power here was out for a few hours, so we had to retire to the beach with a cooler of beer and watch the cute girls play volleyball, oh well, tough life ! lol !

A few hours! Well, the revolution is clearly in peril, then. We'll send Enron to the rescue.

Noticiero Digital? Oh yeah, THAT's a reliable source for all your right-wing spinnage. I hear that those in the know call it BASURERO Digital. Meaning it's a garbage dumpster. Having seen the quality of its posters, I have to concur--it's pure white trash.

No wonder you're anonymous. If I posted whackjobbity crapaganda links like you did, I'd want to hide my electronic face, too.

BTW, the "stealing" charge is libel. Ternium will be compensated at FAIR market value, and trust me, the workers won't be hurting. But your ass is sure to be another story, LOL.

Plus, as I recall, the SIDOR workers have long been lobbying for this nationalization. They're now celebrating. Their compensation, I daresay, will take care of itself when the government is of the people...

Bina, why must you lie? NoticieroDigital is by far the largest independent website in Venezuela, it's LOCAL (which you are not and will never be) and it covers both sides. I checked out your blog ... you are in Canada? Give me a break ... have you ever been to Latin America? I bet your skin is as white as this background and you don't tan, you turn red. get a life
