It is certainly no accident that Colombia, the nation with the closest ties to the United States in South America, is classified as a tier one nation in terms of human traffic. I fear that free trade with Colombia will only open more avenues for the traffic of Colombians out of the nation (the State Department estimates that 50,000 area already in the "system").
