Latin America News Review

This blog is intended for those who want to read press articles that contain unique insights --as well as information that is often hard to find-- about Latin American politics, economy and society. I compile news articles on a regular basis and occasionally include my own analysis. Comments are always welcome. I hope people find this site useful.

Justin's back!

I suspect the literacy rate will rise, as many of you bitches stopped reading altogether after Oct. 12, 2009.

I also suspect the 'hope & change' rate will rise, as there's this Evo Morales quote in one of Justin's articles:

"During the first visits of U.S. diplomats, they said that we couldn’t have relations with (Hugo) Chavez, with Cuba, with Iran.

But in the latest visits they’ve accept that we have the right to have relations with the whole world.

We have begun, I don’t know, perhaps to educate or change them."

What you will never read here:
Venezuela got into an economic depression.
Negative growth of 4% of GDP.

And the oil price is over US$60

But of course, Delacour is a propagandist.
