This blog is intended for those who want to read press articles that contain unique insights --as well as information that is often hard to find-- about Latin American politics, economy and society. I compile news articles on a regular basis and occasionally include my own analysis. Comments are always welcome. I hope people find this site useful.

Wow, Justin, your posts are short of commentary, but the links that you provide are provoke critical thinking. More, the information you link to isn't that common in the US mainstream internet.
Nice job, as usual.
As I am busy with my farm and business after a five week trip to Central America, I don't have much energy and time to comment. However, I really appreciate the work you put into this web space.
Last night I watched the documentary "The Corporation". This is essential for all students in the social sciences because it demystifies the core (patho)logic that undergirds social life, culture, and politics. More, the producers of this film do an excellent job in providing nuance--with many interviews with CEO's that have a social conscience and are struggling to 'do the right thing' in the face of this beast of a system.
Hope that your business and professional life are in good order. Keep it up.
Thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately, there's always a trade-off between providing one's own commentary and searching for interesting links because one's time is finite. Later down the road, I'll try to provide more of my own commentary.
